No new sound — every sound in these is already taught. What is new is that they sit side by side with nothing between them, and that is a syllable shape Somali, Arabic, Urdu do not allow.
Start with ssssss and hold it. Keep holding it, and while your voice is still off, put your tongue straight onto the next sound. sssss-top. Shorter. ssstop. stop.
They check it: Say it and clap ONCE. 'stop' is one beat. If you clapped twice, or if you hear a little 'uh' or 'i' at the front, a vowel got in. Start the sss again and make it shorter, not louder.
