The margin and the space between lines

The red margin divides the page into two jobs: numbering on the left, writing on the right.

What it is

The notebook page has less room than a worksheet, so the two spaces you have been given until now — the margin and the gap between lines — you must now keep yourself. Your letters get smaller; the spacing rules do not change.
