Skipping a line
Sentence and paragraph work is double-spaced.
What it is
You write on every second line, leaving the one between empty. That empty line is not wasted — it is where corrections go, where a teacher writes, and where you add the word you forgot. Writing on every line leaves nowhere to fix anything.
Watch it built
1Write your first line.
The bird sang in the tree.
2Skip the next line completely. Do not write on it.
3Write your second line under the empty one.
It rained all night.
Remember
Write, skip, write, skip. The empty line is for fixing.
Ask yourself: “Is there an empty line under what I wrote?”
Remember
Skip a line so there is room to answer you.
